Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. – Albert Einstein

About Us:
Logo Story

In 1981, the Murray Street Enterprise took its logo from a view of its loft building, a 1915 reinforced concrete manufacturing space in the Lower Manhattan district that would become known as TriBeCa (the Triangle Below Canal street).

The distinctive façade appeared in a variety of renditions in the lower left-hand corner of our letterhead and business cards. Murray Street Enterprise became Murray Street Productions (Inc.) and Murray Street Marketing. TriBeCa has changed from manufacturing to residential community. And 9/11/01, with Ground Zero just three blocks away, changed us all.

The time since then has been a time for rebuilding. To update our graphics, we sought the help of Brooklyn-based Hyperakt Design Group to communicate a simple idea. We’re delighted with the new microphone logo, which keeps our “old” building in the design of the grille - joining technology with tradition.

Today’s technology might be complex, but the best of what is said and played comes through Murray Street – crisp and clear.
